Our Staff | Hilary WijeratneHilary is the founder of Tax Edge Advisors, having over 32 years in the accounting industry. Hilary initially worked at Bird Cameron in Toorak before starting up his own accountancy practice in Springvale in 1990. Hilary’s experience in the accounting profession is detailed and wide and he has years of experience in advising a wide variety of individual, businesses and professionals on taxation accounting and business services. Hilary holds a Bachelor of Business, is a Certified Practising Accountant and has extensive experience advising in business structuring, business planning, tax planning, business succession and estate planning. | Ryan WijeratneHas been with the firm since 2009, he has a Bachelor of Business in Accounting, a Public Practice Certificate, is an Associate of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) and a Registered Tax Agent. Ryan’s strong research, analytical, and project management skills help him meet the varied financial needs of our clients. His long years of experience, enables him to find the optimum solutions for our clients accounting and tax challenges. Ryan has a strategic approach to property investments, as well as extensive experience in taxation and business accounting services to small and medium enterprises (SME’s), self-managed super funds, not-for-profits, specialising in property development and entrepreneurial clients. Ryan also has significant expertise in computerised and cloud accounting software and can assist clients in choosing the most appropriate software and setting up best-practice systems. Prior to joining our firm Ryan was self-employed, and the knowledge and business skills acquired during this time are useful in supporting clientele. |
